While it is important to remember that most students do not use marijuana, recent data shows a decrease in perception of risk. This means that fewer youth believe the drug can be as dangerous as "harder" substances, which can lead to them being more susceptible to start using.


With increased normalization in pop culture and social media, legalization, and varied ways of using including edibles and vape pens, it has become more difficult to address the potentially harmful consequences of regular use of marijuana.
